About Us:

The association is part of a world-wide movement to support persons with developmental challenges in their home community.

Families, friends, volunteers and employees work together to:

  • Support persons with a developmental challenge to create and achieve life plans in their own community.
  • Advocate for inclusion of persons with developmental challenges in recreation, social, religious, educational, economic, employment and health services.
  • Press for greater societal support of persons with a developmental challenge through legislation and funding of community services.
  • Encourage our community to understand and live alongside persons with a developmental challenge.
